Hello there..
Just joined....
Stag purchase still some time off yet.
Looking at various engine options, fixes, sourcing parts etc.
One question I do have is with the overdrive ratios.
I understand manual 3 litre Stags have overdrive in 3rd and 4th.
Also lead to belive that best not to just switch in the overdrive but treat it as a gear change, match revs, clutch etc.
Whilst I understand the use of overdrive in 4th gear, where does the ratio of overdrive in third fit into the scheme of things?
Is it lower or higher than 4th without over drive?

I just switch mine in and out usually only in 4th but sometimes in 3rd if i'm looking for a kick down for an overtake,never heard of clutch needed for operating the OD.
